This year's class will read at least ten class novels.  Culminating activities for the novels range from classroom skits to sequels to the books.  Our second grade reading buddies are from Mrs. Martinez's class.  We meet every other Tuesday with them and assist them in their projects.  Journal writing activities occur every week.  This year's class will also compose newsletters each nine weeks.
